The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Assessment of Scheme for Engineering and Technology Education (ASSETE) recently organized an educational visit for local primary school students. On June 23, a visit to the HKSTP Experience Centre and SenseTime’s AI Experience Centre attracted in total 57 primary school students from 11 local schools. The Principal Investigator of ASSETE - Professor Wong, Kam Fai attended the event together with students, exploring cutting-edge technologies utilized throughout the Science Park and latest advancements in AI applications from SenseTime. It is hoped that students would be inspired by the wide range of applied technology shown and their interest in science and engineering would be fostered respectively.
