ASSET Phase Two Officially Launched and Began Accepting Applications on 1 September 2024.

In Phase Two, we aim to build on these achievements and expand the participation to 60 schools.
Funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of the HKSAR Government, the Centre for Innovation and Technology (CINTEC) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong has launched the ASSETE Phase One programme in September 2022. By referencing international STEM education standards, ASSETE has developed an assessment framework suitable for assessing the engineering and technology levels of local primary and secondary school students.
ASSETE Phase One pilot programme (2022 – 2024) was successfully completed in August this year. It has provided assessments to more than 1,000 students from 25 local primary and secondary schools. The effectiveness of the assessment has been validated by this pilot programme. In Phase Two, we aim to build on these achievements and expand the participation to 60 schools. We are now recruiting schools to join the programme.
