The project team designed a framework to assess the engineering and technological literacy of students participating in ASSETE. From November 2023 to March 2024, the assessment was launched online at Lam Tai Fai College, Pui Kiu Middle School, and Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Secondary School for the first time, with nearly 200 students participating in the assessment. These assessments helped the project team to verify the feasibility and reasonableness of the online assessment and also helped the team to understand the challenges they would encounter during the actual operation of the assessment.
